The Life Sciences Summit 2014 brings emerging companies and innovators together with capital and industry leaders with the goal of increasing collaboration, networking, and new business opportunities. Emerging Company Presentations

The Summit Showcase features presentations by emerging companies that have raised $15 million or less with pre-clinical to Phase 2A assets. These companies present before a panel of ‘Pitch Doctors’ (early stage VCs, corporate VCs and industry business development executives) who will ask questions and provide constructive feedback.

Pipeline Cafe

The pipeline café features 30 academic innovators who are hand selected to present their discoveries, which are available for partnering, in two poster sessions.  The academic innovators will be available for discussions at their posters as well as one-on-one partnering meetings.

Strategic Partner Presentations

Industry business development executives and medical research foundations seeking early stage collaborations outline their interests to Summit participants.

Business Workshops & Plenary Sessions

Business Workshops and Plenary Sessions feature experts from business, academia, government and the not-for-profit sector who explore the broader issues affecting the development and commercialization of new therapeutics and provide guidance to emerging companies and innovators looking to launch, build and fund successful life sciences companies

Key Opinion Leaders

Thought leaders from industry, academia, government and medical research foundations share their insights on the opportunities and challenges that impact the discovery and development of new therapies in the areas of oncology, infectious diseases, CNS and diseases related to Aging.
